Dear Pat -- Mark and I knew that when Hanna and Steve got engaged that one of our first calls was to you! Your attention to detail is impeccable and you never made me feel embarrassed when I didn't know the answers to your questions. You are the best wedding coach ever!
Your staff couldn't be warmer and even when there were bumps in the road, Debbie and Donna handled them with the utmost professionalism and warmth. The word "No" is not in Party Assurance's vocabulary. When I told friends that you even offered to save me a trip to Ann Arbor by picking up the marriage license, those who know you said, "That's Pat" and those who didn't were amazed. I don't know when and where my son will get married, but if it's in Michigan, there's no doubt that you'll get a call! Please don't hesitate to use me as a reference.

And AMY?!?! She is a one woman army!!!! Oh my goodness, that was the easiest party I have ever attended as a Mom. I did not worry about one thing, I didn't check one thing, one buffet table, the candy table, the giveaways.... absolutely nothing. She watched over all of it and she did an incredible job. Resolved any issues before I even knew about them
Now that I’ve had a day to recuperate, I wanted to send you a quick thank you. Marlee’s bat mitzvah was everything I had hoped it would be! Your employees were perfect. Jill in particular was just so helpful. If I needed anything, she was right there to take care of it. Usually she had resolved any issues before I even knew about them.
I also wanted to thank you for being so easy to work with throughout this planning process. Even though I’m pretty organized and even keeled, I was definitely feeling the stress the week before the bat mitzvah. After our meeting at my house, you took all the pressure off of me. Walking through your checklists made me feel like nothing was going to slip through the cracks. Watching you cart away box after box of our giveaways, prizes, and candy from my living room into your van took such a weight off my chest. Of all the expenses in throwing a party like this, hiring you and your team is at the top of my list of necessities.

Hi Pat! I can’t begin to express how much we appreciate everything you and Debbie did to make the planning and execution of Sydni’s Bat Mitzvah such a success. You are truly the BEST at what you do!!!!!! The night was just absolutely magical and I could not have done it without you!!!!! It went so smoothly and the kids had the BEST BEST BEST time. More importantly, Sydni had the best night of her life and still smiles from ear to ear when people ask her about it. A non-dancing party is a definite contender!!!!! The adults loved Sean Z and being able to actually talk to each other and the kids LOVED the activities. They really enjoyed doing something different. You are an absolute ROCK STAR!!!! There was only one thing that I noticed that I wish i could have changed… I would have suggested to leave one row of chairs empty in the back for those few that arrived late and did not want to try to find an open seat in the middle of the service. As there were a handful of people that were standing in the back during the entire service. Besides that… everything was PERFECT. And I would absolutely 1000% percent recommend that no party would be complete without a Red Coat Lady!! As a matter of fact, one of my vendors just asked me how helpful you were. My exact response was… It is KEY KEY KEY to have a Red Coat Lady for a bar/bat mitzvah!

Debbie was AMAZING!
Dear Pat, Sean and I are so thankful for you and your staff and everything you did to make our wedding day a wonderful celebration. Debbie was AMAZING! A total life saver! She went above and beyond our expectations and was always ready to troubleshoot and problem solve. I told myself I wasn't going to answer logistical questions/address last-minute issues on my wedding day -- and thankfully Debbie took care of everything for me. She even helped bustle my dress! I don't have her contact formation, but would like to thank her and the second coordinator (is it Tiffany? her name is escaping me) for a job well done. Tiffany was super helpful as well and has a great personality. She manages to be upbeat and calming/comforting at the same time, which is not easy to do!

Husband said what a difference they made...
There is not enough room in this testimonial box to thank Pat and Velda for their help with my wedding. I really am so grateful for their services... they helped make our wedding day INCREDIBLE.
First I want to just talk about Pat. Pat is amazing. She went above and beyond on my wedding day to make sure I felt prepared and comfortable and calm. My husband and I had a huge (and LOUD!) bridal/groomsmen party - and she was able to keep them all in line (a huge undertaking) and get them where they need to be and when. The best part is she did it in a super calm and respectful way, which we truly appreciated it.
Pat was prepared for everything! She literally had a belt on that had items I might need! She made sure we had food after our ceremony so we could eat before we were greeted by everyone and checked in with me throughout the evening to make sure I was al good (and even taped up my dress a few time as it was slipping down!)
Pat also worked with my mom for many hours before the event to make sure all of her questions were answered. I am so appreciative she was there to work with my mom as I live across the country and I know it was such a help to her.
My husband made a comment after the wedding about how incredible Pat was and what a difference having her (and Velda) at the wedding makes. We were able to just relax and know everything was taking care of and we could just enjoy our epic wedding. it was truly epic! She is so confident and knows this world so well and we are beyond lucky we hired her.
Pat brought Velda with her --- and Velda was awesome! She was sweet and really helped with the little details -- she even made sure my favorite drink was on the table waiting for me. So wonderful!
I HIGHLY recommend her to everyone throwing any event... especially a wedding, She (and her team) are wonderful!

OMG - best money spent for the wedding! I had heard about Pat Blackwell for years. We were trying to be careful with what was spent and I waited until 4 months before to sign the contract. With the first meeting my husband said, "If we never see her again, it was worth the money." She came with a list of things we needed to do and get for the wedding right down to how many challahs (breads) to buy for the motzi prayer and how much candy and nuts for the tables. She picked up and delivered everything to the wedding, the hospitality bags to 3 hotels, lunch for the bridal party at a beauty shop, ran the rehearsal with humor and fun, sewed up a bridesmaid's dress with fishing wire when the entire zipper broke! I could fill this page with all she did.

Rhoda and I would like to thank you, again, for helping us with this large production. You keep everyone calm, cool and collected. No problem is too great for you. Pat – Please count me in if you ever start a fan club! I was somewhat familiar with your services from all the Bar/Bat Mitzvahs we attended when Molly and Max were that age. (Although you offer a much broader scope of services now.) But I didn’t really recognize and fully understand the value of your services until Lori and I experienced them first-hand for Molly and Eric”s wedding in May! You are so on top of everything from the minor details to the big picture – prepared for the expected as well as the unexpected. Pat, we had no idea how much we needed Amy! She was incredible! She anticipated everything that was happening and magically appeared every time we turned to ask a question.
She was completely unobtrusive but completely attentive to our entire family. How did she do that??? From reviewing the timeline, paying the contractors, bustling Julia’s dress and helping her sit down EVERY time she made it to the head table, collecting gifts, carrying lipstick to see if we needed a touch-up, wrapping flowers at the end of the party, and getting everyone where they needed to be all night, Amy was wonderful. Her personality was very calming, confident, and competent. We left so many details in her hands at the party, and we were so happy not to have to stress over anything.
I had been advised by my friends to have help at the wedding, but I truly had no notion of what was involved. Happy customers? We are ecstatic!
Thank you for making sure we were on track prior to the party, and for collecting the goblets and supervising the cleanup at the end. All told, you and your staff made our party a success!

Pat: I wanted to send you a note to tell you how amazing Sue and Jill were. They were on top of everything all night long. I loved that they were never intrusive with me and Jon, but that whatever they needed to ask us, they did quickly and efficiently. You certainly helped keep ME organized
Pat, We are still in recovery mode and have not had a chance yet to sit down and write to you to let you know just how FABULOUS you and Jill were ! The night went off without a hitch, and it never would have happened without you. You certainly helped keep ME organized, which just made everything go that much smoother. (My husband wanted to know what I was taking, I was so calm!) From the day you came to the house to first meet with me, to the day of the pick up to clear out my living room, till the very end of the evening, Joel and I kept raving about what a wonderful service you provide. I’ve heard thru the middle school grapevine that Jill had to “handle” a couple of the boys during the party, and we never even knew there was an issue. She just took care of it so it didn’t ruin the good time the rest of the kids were having. She was AMAZING during the clean up – things were packed up before I even thought to look for them. Joel said he saw you when he dropped off the computer for the montage and I’m sorry I missed you. Everything in the room was put onto the tables exactly how we envisioned, and then some. When I walked in, I was stunned. There just aren’t enough superlatives or ways to say “thank you”. I almost wish I had another party on the horizon just so we could work together again. I will definitely recommend you to anyone willing to listen!

You anticipated our every need and then some
Pat, You anticipated our every need and then some. You delivered all the out-of-towner bags (to multiple locations). You made sure we ate the day of the ceremony so we wouldn’t pass out on the Bima. You picked up all the bridal party’s clothes, shoes, accessories and had them all waiting at the shul when we arrived (steaming those that needed it). You set up the place cards for the reception (including last minute changes). You set up the heritage table. You and your staff even helped the women guests with their sore feet, providing footies when necessary. You kept the bride and groom and their parents’ food warm during the reception. You packaged up the flowers and the sweet table at the end of the evening. You anticipated and met our every need calmly and with a smile on your face.
Molly and Eric’s wedding (June 2012) was the best night of my life (right up there with my own wedding and the birth of our children). I danced like I never danced before, smiled more than ever before, and loved my family and friends like never before. You are the reason I could enjoy that special day without any anxiety. Sorry it took so long to express my love and appreciation.

Pat, your prompt and knowledgeable answers to all of my detail questions saved me an incredible amount of time and energy. Hi Pat. Sue and Liz were amazing and I have a feeling I don’t know the half of all they did!!!!! The service was above and beyond my expectations and I received a lot of compliments regarding them, their visibility, attention to detail and so much more. Absolute best decision we made
The absolute best decision we made was to hire Pat Blackwell as our day of coordinator. Pat was fantastic to work with and her team really delivered the day of the wedding – I didn’t have to worry about a thing and felt so great to leave things in their hands. I am a control freak so that says a lot! Pat is super organized, thoughtful, and responsive. She really helped us throughout the planning to organize our timeline and ceremony, to answer all sorts of random questions, and to ensure we had thought of everything. Her checklists were so helpful too – there are all kinds of little things you don’t think about that end up being important on that day (i.e. – having bottled water and snacks for wedding party on site, bringing a duffel bag for the cards and gifts). She even delivered our centerpieces to the hotel for our brunch after the wedding. I highly recommend!!!
